去年ITV宣布翻拍上世纪六十年代的经典剧集《雷鸟神机队》，主演包括Rosamund Pike和Thomas Brodie-Sangster。原版剧集是一部木偶剧，故事描述退役宇航员Jeff Tracy和他的5个儿子组成「雷鸟救援队」，利用火箭等先进运输工具去帮助那些遇到麻烦的人们。Thomas Brodie-Sangster在新版剧集《雷鸟神机队出动》（Thunderbirds Are Go!）中扮演「雷鸟国际救援队」的Gordon Tracy和John Tracy兄弟（配音，下同），Rosamund Pike扮演秘密特工Penelope（P夫人）。此外，Kayvan Novak将扮演「Brains」、Rasus Hardiker扮演Alan Tracy和Scott Tracy，Sandra Dickinson扮演Tracy老奶奶，David Menkin扮演Virgil，Andres Williams扮演反派角色「The Hood」。原版剧集的配音演员David Graham将再次扮演P夫人的司机Parker。Angel Coulby和Adjoa Andoh分别为新角色Kayo和Casey上校配音。Kayo是Tracy五兄弟的朋友，也住在岛上。该剧不再是木偶剧，而是一部混合了CGI动画和真人模型的新型动画剧。该剧2015年初播出。
